About me
Hi I'm Jon, thank you for visiting my website; I provide manual driving lessons in Whitley, Goole, Knottingley, Ferrybridge and Pontefract. I am licensed by the DVSA to give driving instruction and operate my own independent LDC Driving School business.
I decided to train to become a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test, the first time. I have been told by friends and work colleagues that with my calm, friendly and relaxed personality I would make a great Driving Instructor.
Throughout my career I have professionally supported, trained and coached individuals in achieving their goals and personal development.
I live in Whitley and have done for over 20 years with my wife, son & daughter. I am fortunate to be training with LDC using the latest adult coaching and student-centred training techniques, so you can be assured that the training I give will be of the highest standard and I am passionate about road safety.
I chose to work with LDC because everybody is different and the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely, at a pace that suits you. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and as productive as possible. The LD System just helps me to do this more effectively.
I can provide a range of courses with a Driving Test included if this is required. Lessons are always conducted in a calm, friendly, and relaxed manner as I firmly believe in making pupils feel at ease during lessons.
